Windows 7 ... in Asus eee PC

It was very clever from Microsoft to offer the new RC of Windows 7 to the public. I was very curious to check not the new features but if the new OS is lighter than Vista...

The best way to do that is to use a netbook :-) So I downloaded the iso file from Microsoft download center and burnt it to a dvd ( 2,26 GB )

The installation took something like 28-29 minutes ( half an episode of Kati Psinetai! ) ... You practically do nothing during the procedure .... Keep in mind that you have to choose custom installation if you have other language than English as OS language...

First impressions are positive... It's almost like XP as far as work load is concerned... And AERO looks briliant :-)
